Today could not have been a more beautiful day–sunny, mild, perfect fall weather. Lucky for us, we already had plans to get together for a pumpkin decorating party at a local park (you don’t have to deal with the mess at your own house!).
We laid out a spread of tasty fall treats including apples and caramel, candy corn, apple cider, cupcakes, pumpkin cookies, and festive tortilla chips with cheese…yummm….
Pumpkin shaped cookie dough was purchased from GFS. Since it was all ready to bake, all there was left to do was decorate them!
…black and orange tortilla chips (also from GFS) and kettle corn…

Let the decorating begin! Assorted yarn, pumpkin face stickers (from Hobby Lobby), glitter, foam shapes, paint and ric rack were in small galvanized buckets ready to be uztized to adorn the pumpkins.
Paint was the most popular choice (and the messiest! Good thing we weren’t at home!!!). The glitter was pretty popular too–especially becasue it blew around in the wind.
And now for the masterpieces…
It was such a treat to take home our pumpkins without the mess.
And, little H sported her newest rosette headband from the shop. Doesn’t she look so cute!?!?
Such a wonderful afternoon with family and friends! Hope your weekend is just as great!
