I love the fresh feel of the Lemon Drop Shop blog (I hope you do too!) and have had enjoyed working within its light, airy design. Just wanted to take a quick moment to share the talent behind the blog design. I so wish that I was able to create and implement my design concepts on my own, but sadly I do not (see the about page for more on that topic as I could go on and on…).
I began by looking at my favorite blogs to see who was created them. Then, I started exploring the links from those sites as well which is how I came across “Violet” (aka Heather) the first time. I turned to see what etsy might offer (since I have a shop on etsy, I like to support other etsy folks as well). Lo and behold, I found ”Violet” again! I thought, “It must be fate!” Her aesthetic really resonated with my own and realized that I’d found my girl.
What I think is most fabulous is that the entire process was done via e-mail–perfect for me. She heard my voice and was able to implement my vision splendidly. I was just giddy when she first sent me a screen shot! Heather was so very attentive and patient–and continues to be. I am so excited to see her talent continue to grow into a uber successful design studio.
