This is it (I think); the last post from Happy Hadley-Day.
Donut holes and cocoa to go–that’s what guests got on their way out the door from Hadley’s party.
I know the kids already had bags of candy overflowing from the candy buffet, but I had these mini, red, polka dot gable boxes (in the shop) that were just too perfect and I had to use them. Breakfast party…donut holes seemed just the thing!
I couldn’t just put the donut holes into the box, right?! I had been wanting to use these mod snowflake cello bags (in the shop) as well.
…add a little grosgrain ribbon and a glittered, snowflake ornament…
…line them up in a classic, red radio flyer wagon…
Then came the cocoa! Garnish was my inspiration on this one–they have some fabulous products and ideas.
I set up drink carriers ready to go with cups, lids and peppermint sticks (in cello bags tied with baker’s twine) adorned with a party circle that said “Cocoa to Go” tied on with ric rac.
As friends left the party, we offered to fill up their cups with hot chocolate. A perfect farewell on a chilly December morning.
More on the “cocoa to go” later…
