We all need at least one. If you talk a lot, you may need more. Do you have one? You know, that friend that listens and listens and continues to listen even when you’re repeating yourself for the millionth time or not speaking sensible sentences or crying so hard they cannot understand a word your are blathering while you have the “ugly” face (we all have one, let’s admit it–the crying face that is only cute on celebrities on camera when it’s not really real-I digress.).
This card really struck me. I can’t wait to give it to “my people”–that’s what I call them: my foundation friends, the ones that have grown with me through many life changes, the ones that are always there even when I’m not, the ones you see across the room and can take a deep breath because you know you belong and are known because they’re one of “your people”.
