 It’s Friday. Not just any Friday, GOOD Friday. And a good day it is.

I honestly don’t remember who gave me this card, but I’ve held onto it for years now and still consider it one of my faves. This is the one I reload and use all the time. I have others too; I keep all of them. Is that strange?

I may be showing my age–as well as my poor taste in television shows–but I was so excited to see James is a regular in a new show! (For those that don’t know, James VanderBeek was Dawson on Dawson’s Creek.) I’m a little skeptical due to the title of the show…if you are interested, you can check it out here.

Went to Houli’s for dinner with some friends. It was a $6 large appetizer night PLUS 1/2 price drinks. Double score! Besides the fact that I was the driver and I had an empty stomach, I’m a total lightweight when it comes to real drinks. And I honestly hate to waste to many calories on a beverage (unless its from Starbucks, of course). Any-who…Have you ever tried the Texas Beach? It was super yummy–all three sips I had of it. Perfect summer drink. Next time, someone else may have to do the driving! (just kidding, kind of…I’m not a lush) Houlihan’s will always hold a place in my heart as it was where my husband and I went on our first date.  

Homemade nachos. So tasty. (and easy too) The best part? I didn’t have to share the loaded chips with anyone!

A generous gift to my little man from my husband’s cycling buddy. WOW! So cool! I might just have to give it a try. Or not.

Looking forward to weekend of friends, family and celebrating the REAL reason for Easter. No, not jelly beans….JESUS! He is risen indeed! Hallelujah!
