A Little of This & A Little of That

Happy Sunday! Here is a little collection of things I found last week that I fancied and thought I’d share.

I have been waiting for what seems like eons to see Pure Joy Events create this anthropology inspired backdrop. Looks great, doesn’t it?

Pleats win over ruffles for me–less whimsy more structure. Suits my personality more closely. I think See Kate Sew took things to a whole new level with the pleated strips in this quilt. (via UCreate)

I am amazed at what people can do with crepe paper streamers. I am even more amazed at what people come up with as substitutes. This is certainly a fresh take. Adding machine tape and a paper punch… featured on Hostess with the Mostess.

Mustaches. I am still trying to figure out where this trend began. And why. Regardless, I thought this Mustache Bash was great. What really lured me in was the color scheme. I think it is FANTASTIC! Did I mention the color scheme is amazing?!?! And the bow ties are pretty fab too. (Sol and Rachel via Kara’s Party Ideas.)

For someone like me who doesn’t like hard, time consuming projects, this one looks totally doable! And, thankfully, I have a little munchkin who can wear this sweet swirly skirt! Where does Dana at Dana Made It find the time to do this stuff?!

There are always so many great things to see online. I can’t get over how creative people are and what a gift the internet is to allow all of these projects to be shared. If only there was time to actually do them all…
