When we swapped our kitchen/family room to our blue decor recently, I pulled down the cookie sheet magnet board that I had made a while back because it had a red patterned paper on it. I replaced it with a clock that didn’t work–I know, I know…but it was better than nothing.
The other day, I was in the basement and caught sight of a fresh roll of light blue Martha Stewart wrapping paper that I had gotten on clearance. I still have no idea how I saw it through all the other treasures down there (wink wink).
The label deems it Christmas paper. The design is generic enough though, even if reminiscent of snowflakes. I used it anyways. It still needed a little something. So I made a flower (I’ll show you how to make it soon). I am a little short on magnets, so I used a clothespin to clip the flower to the edge of the pan. Then it looked a little messy with all the random papers, so I pinned on a glassine bag (from the shop) to hold the invites for the kids’ upcoming birthday parties and such.
Yes, that is so much better than the clock (that doesn’t work).
