Here we go…

My life is changed. My new baby arrived last week. It is really beautiful. I think I’ll call it “mac”! ;)

We went to the movies again due to the extreme heat. When we got there, Auden complained that he wasn’t feeling good. When he proceed to wrap himself up in Hadley’s blankie, I knew he was for real. Poor boy. He has been running a low grade fever with a cough and runny nose all week. He even fell asleep on the couch in the middle of the day! OH! And Hadley thought the soda was de-lish–even if it was as big as she was!

After church and before we drove 2 1/2 hours up to Wisconsin to take our oldest daughter to camp, my husband thought he’d sneak a bike race in as it was “on the way”. The weather was not quite so stifling and suffocating, the race was in a charming little downtown (Geneva) and I really do enjoy watching my husband race. We planted ourselves in the Adirondack chairs in front of Graham’s Chocolate (where we had ice cream at 10:30 am-bad mommy!) under the shade of a large tree. It was wonderful.

Have you tried the new Starbucks “refreshers”? Get a free tall one today (today only!). They gave out samples earlier this week in these absolutely adorable little cups with baby straws! Yum!

I went by the park that we were planning on having Auden’s party at a few times this week to scout things out.

The ice pop mold that I’ve been eyeing reduced in price by 75% on Amazon, so of course I had to get it! I just have to decide what to make first!

These little lovelies are in the dollar spot at Target. A friend of mine, Nikki, has a thing for owls so I took a quick picture for her. If she lived closer, I would have just bought one for her, but I didn’t want to spend more than it was worth on shipping. Okay, so maybe that is just dumb. I should have just gotten it. I may have to go back now! Another trip to Target–aww shucks!

Party time!!! The park entrance pic is sideways, but I’m too tired to fix it. We hauled all the goodies over there and the kids had a great time. Even played a round or two of “duck duck goose”.The party crowd consisted of 9 girls and 2 boys–one of which was the birthday boy. Hmmm…does this mean he is a ladies man?  Good times.

Picmonkey (which is completely free)! You can edit your photos and create collages…I added the green boxes and date after I created the collage. I imported it again as a single image and added the graphics. I’m sure that was waaaaayyy more than you were hoping for.
