I’ve had rose, slate, olive, navy and the standard khaki. But never have I had orange pants. I picked these up at GAP the other day while I was waiting for my appointment at the Apple Store because my phone screen went out and I was crossing my fingers that they would replace it because it’s new since I dropped my my previous one in a cup of coffee in January. (run on sentence?!? and, no, the rice trick did not work)
I thought maybe I could get you all lost in the phone story and miss the fact that I went to The Gap, but… the pants are the real evidence. I couldn’t decide between cords or khakis. What’s a girl to do but buy both?!? They were 40% off the sale price if I need more justification. Which I don’t, of course, because I’m not feeling guilty about it at all.

Though they are very close in color, they are totally different styles. I know, more justification. But here is the real problem at hand: what do you wear with orange pants?!? Black is out unless it is Halloween. Navy perhaps? White? Chambray? I want to keep it classic for sure. Can you do that with orange pants?Hmmmm…I just don’t know.

FunnY that I was at gap recently and saw the same orange pants but the ones I like we’re the orange ones that weren’t on sale! I’d go with chambray for sure! White for summer! Even yellow accessories?
I love gray with orange. Navy and chambray look great too. I just bought the same cords in skater blue… a stretch for me. I’ve worn them with black and navy so far. Will wear them with gray also.
