Party to Pine For :: Apple Picking

I totally want to do this. Oh my! There is so much here that I love that I don’t even know where to begin. Seriously. Oh my! But let’s start here.

The invite:

Isn’t it beautiful? Love the chalkboard look and feel. Love the envelope liner (I make these for my invites too!). Love that they photographed it on burlap.

The plaids:

You can see in the first picture how each person had their full set-up in an apple picking basket–which is pretty great by itself. These handmade, plaid plate & silverware holders are even more amazing. I’m a sucker for plaid, but they really used it well here–and an assortment of plaids as well.

The mason jars:

I think mason jars are a party staple. Everyone should buy a package of them. If you have some, you know. They come in handy for all sorts of things. But here, they were effectively used for apple dippings.

The coordination & simplicity:

I have to speak to the coordination of the whole party. It was so well done, but not in a cutesy or heavy handed way. The consistency of the design of the tags and envelopes, the mason jar topper and envelope liner, the plethora of plaids…Fantastic in every way. You MUST go see all the lovely photos and details over at Style Me Pretty.

Apple picking season is over here in the Midwest, so I guess I’ll have to wait until next year…
