DIY Fortune Cookie Valentine

Classmates and friends will feel so lucky when they get these adorable fortune cookie valentines this Valentine’s Day! Here’s how you make them.

Supplies: red felt cut into 2 inch circles, red ribbon, twist ties or other wire, typed fortunes and a hot glue gun

glue the wire strip through the middle of the felt circle

glue a strip of ribbon over it

fold felt circle in half with with wire/ribbon on the outside

wrap fortune over wire/ribbon

fold outer felt circle edges over the fortune

done!

I chose to put each fortune cookie into a small take-out box filled with basket filler and some candy. I tied a little baker’s twine bow on the outside to finish it off. They work well for a girl or a boy which is another bonus. Oh, I and I will admit, I’m not the most original gal. I got the idea from Martha. :)

Come back tomorrow for another DIY valentine idea!

That is so cute! I love that idea so much! I have some felt laying around my house so I really think I need to do this!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog!
