DIY Beribboned Cake Platter

This is an inexpensive and simple way to jazz up a plain-jane party platter. Just a little ribbon and some scissors is all it takes!

Of course, if you are planning your shin dig with a certain color scheme, this is a great way to pull things together–a repertoire of coordinating ribbon. You’ll want to measure the diameter of the platter. Then add enough for a drop on either side. Cut several strips of ribbon and place them across the platter until it’s filled in to your liking.

I think it was a great touch to the pancakes and pj’s party food buffet table.

It’s absolutely delightful. I think I could even pull this idea off. Now all I have to do is buy a cake platter like the one in the picture. :)
